Our Facility

Therapy Works of SWLA is located on Lake Street between McNeese St. and Country Club Rd. We have constructed, a state-of-the-art facility designed specifically for pediatric therapy.  Kim and Ratna were involved in every aspect of it’s design.  Over 60 years combined experience working in and designing other facilities makes this facility a true evolution of what works, and does not, for an amazing pediatric therapeutic environment.

Therapy Works is a fun, welcoming environment where function and play come alive in order to facilitate a child’s optimal performance. The 2,500 square foot facility includes a family friendly waiting room, evaluation, speech, and fine motor treatment rooms, as well as a group room and a large sensory motor gym. The sensory-motor gym has numerous attachments for suspended swings and equipment.  The environment can be transformed to build suspended obstacle courses or configured more simply for individual interventions. Whether your child needs a quiet space for concentrating, multiple sensory opportunities for play-based activities, or interaction with peers in a safe one-on-one setting, Therapy Works will be able to accommodate your child.

We will not stop there.  We plan to create a “playscape” and we have a safe paved area for bike riding training.  Outside play is extremely important in your child’s development.

Therapy works broke ground in June, 2017 and moved into the building February 2018. As of 1/1/23, we continue to love our space and all the children and families we have the pleasure of serving!
